Produce in green

The biggest difference between this and normal Urban Mix is that now the produce department is green, rather than the grey that it normally is. Also, there's actually a department sign now! Cheap Urban Mix ditches the weird "welcome" sign in the produce department, a holdover from Main & Vine that made no sense whatsoever in virtually any store it was retrofitted into, and instead put up a proper produce sign on the old Fresh Fare light box.

Unsurprisingly, since this was a "reduced-scope" remodel, the racetrack ceiling in the produce alcove was left in place, meaning there are traces from all three of this store's most recent decor packages (Urban Mix, Fresh Fare, and Wood) visible in this one image! I always love seeing things like this, especially when all the different bits actually look good together.

This might well be something that looks quite different in person than in a photo, but the light box light is making the rest of this area look very dark more than anything else!

Those don't look like cucumbers and peppers to me! I guess the fruit department is also a natural beverages department if you really want to call it that!

    1. I suspect this is another case of my old 6S camera not really reflecting reality, though it does seem like the light boxes got brighter lights (probably LED versus fluorescent) during the remodel!

I suppose random crates being reused for other products is on brand for this store! The remodel helped with some of the issues here, but it's still one of the less nice QFCs I've visited.
