Not only did Fred Meyer make the aisles wider in this store, they also introduced some partial-length double aisles, like Aisle 7-8 here. Clearly, the reduced merchandise selection was a feature rather than a bug (to use obnoxious computer science terms) in this remodel! One big decor disappointment in this remodel is how tiny the "thanks for shopping at Freddy's" sign looks here -- these signs look good enough ("Freddy's" branding aside) in a normal Fred Meyer with glass above the doors, but look rather awkward here with the large expanse of wall begging for a bigger sign.
