Interestingly, the customer service counter was flipped from the left to the right end of the row of checkouts during this remodel. If anything, it seems like it's more common for this to be on the home side than the food side, so who knows why they decided to move this over here. Also, it seems like the bulkhead above would have been a nice place for the department signage, but that's not what happened -- I have to wonder if they just reused the old signage from the other side of the store, since it is pretty much identical.
