The meat department, lining the left wall, proves that the current trend of mixing all-lowercase and all-uppercase text is nothing new! It is interesting to see "safeway" rendered in all-lowercase here, something I don't think they did even during the Lifestyle era when lowercase was used throughout the entire decor package. This part of the store doesn't look too bad, if you ignore the burned-out lights and ancient cases.
