It's becoming increasingly unusual to see QFC's name spelled out in full on their stores, but apparently Kroger hadn't yet moved away from that in the early 00s! From this angle, it's hard not to see this store as a cheaper knock-off of, say, this Haggen that was built 5 years earlier. Sadly, we never got all that many of either of those cool designs, as Kroger pivoted to building Fred Meyers and Haggen ran out of money for new stores.
