People bringing their dogs into Safeways has been so much of an issue in Seattle that they often put up signs at the entrance saying that pets aren't allowed. Apparently it's an issue down in California too, at least judging by this picture! I'm not one to get upset by people bring their pets into places where they aren't allowed, but I know some people get really worked up about it. Anyway, it's a little odd seeing the deli in the same shot with bakery and produce items in a Safeway! I guess the new stores built after the merger have a "grand aisle" setup with these all in the same area, but I'm not really used to that either.
