The bakery section, in the front right corner, has similar displays to what Pastel Arches stores had, though the hideous color is more in line with what that packaged used for the meat department! I was a bit surprised to see that Safeway put service bakeries in Pak 'n Save stores since back in the 90s a lot of regular Safeways still didn't have them (though this does seem to be a bit lighter on the service aspect than a typical Safeway, lacking common features such as a cake display case under the service counter). This part of the store has seen some recent updates, including a new frozen case (which sticks out compared to the ancient fixtures around it!) and a couple random self-contained fridges.
