🌾Bakery

Of course, the rest of the decor here is super outdated too! I do actually kind of like the bakery sign here, though, which is completely different from the one in Puyallup. (Sadly, the wheat emoji doesn't look anything like the symbols used here!) Off to the right is the "cakes & pastries" section, another one of the mini department signs that are one of the good features of Pastel Arches relative to later Safeway decor packages. Interestingly, this store appears to have gotten mostly new bakery fixtures despite how ancient everything else is here -- the tables and service counter are certainly Lifestyle-era, though the wall cases on the right are clearly old.
