The service departments were fully remodeled here, with the rare (but deeply uninteresting) Modern tile installed in place of the more common Lifestyle version. This store doesn't appear to have ever gotten a Lifestyle remodel, so it's possible that it didn't even have a full set of service departments until this remodel (which could also be part of the reason this store was sent to Haggen). Oregon Safeway bakeries always look so much nicer than Washington ones -- I'm not sure if the products are any different, but the presentation is quite a bit better.
