It's been a long time since I've posted a store from my 2019 Portland vacation! I still have plenty of interesting stores from that trip in my backlog, but I'm always a little bit iffy about posting these old sets because the photo quality from back then is just not good. Though that being said, most of this set is pretty decent by the standards of my 2010s photography!
This store was built in the late 70s, and I have a suspicion it wasn't always a Safeway. I also didn't realize it was that old -- based on aerial images, the current facade appears to be from the early 00s, which matches with the interior this store still has today.
