On the outside of the space, the "flying saucer" ceiling fixture extends upwards as a half-cylindrical sign for the department. The bottom part almost looks modern still, while the text above looks laughably outdated! It looks like the checkout counter below had been completely absorbed by random junk by this point in the closing; I'm guessing any high-value items had been sold or moved to other stores at this point.
