The actual front end area looks quite out of place, with its low coved ceiling and large decorative light fixtures giving it a bit of an old-fashioned look. I'm not sure if this dates back to when this store opened in the 80s (there were definitely stores in that era that had a similar aesthetic) or if it was added in the 00s remodel that seems to have set up pretty much everything else about how this store looks. The very basic register lights, with mailbox stickers for numbers, also really stick out -- I have to wonder if they were supposed to have a cube or some other sort of light diffuser on top that would have had the number on it, like you see on most register lights.
