Under the coves

I was trying to think of what the front end of this store reminded me of, and I think it's QFC. The low, beige ceiling is definitely reminiscent of their Fresh Fare stores (even if they just go with boring ceiling tiles and florescent lights instead of a fancy design like this)! Most QFCs also have similar small beltless checkstands, and a few even have real tile like this. And QFCs even tend to have a similar floral setup, in line with the checkouts near the produce department. However, I don't think I've ever seen a Kroger with such pathetic register lights -- say what you will about their boring cubes, but they're definitely better than what this store has!
