Self checkout, not express checkout

Safeway was really pushing the "15 items or less" thing at this store's self checkout area, something that always annoys me (on the rare occasion I do buy more than that at one time, I just ignore the signs and use self checkout anyway), though I suppose it makes sense with the tiny new machines Safeway is using. I am jealous of the quantity of self checkouts this store has -- nearly double what my store has! At least the reopening of this store has taken some of the pressure off of my store, but I'm tired of having to wait in line even for self checkout.
