Particularly poor column placement

One of the downsides to having a store built into a mixed-use development is that you end up with a bunch of columns around the salesfloor, holding up the floors above. With this store being brand new and not having had any sort of rearrangement yet, you'd think whoever was in charge of the shelving layout would have taken that into account, but apparently not, considering this giant column (even larger than it needs to be since they added pipes to both sides of the column) stuck right in the middle of the candy/refrigerated aisle. This is pretty dumb, especially since the candy shelving is maybe a foot away from its side of the column -- not sure how you're supposed to get to the stuff hiding behind it!
