I've already alluded to this, but this picture shows just how empty the grand aisle really was. Following the social distancing dots wasn't a problem in this store, even though they look to have been placed a lot more than 6 feet apart! I've seen plenty of grocery stores struggle to fill up excess square footage when they inherited oversized buildings (old Grocery Palace stores are infamous for that), but this crosses the line into Sears/Kmart levels of emptiness. Combine that with the lack of shoppers (though there is finally one in this picture) and you end up with a store that looks like it's going to close down any day now.
