Albertsons was clearly going for an old-fashioned bakery look with Grocery Palace, though the open ceiling grid and funky spotlights would have looked very modern circa 2000! I tend to think of this type of ceiling as more of a 90s thing, but it was probably still fairly trendy in the Grocery Palace era. I quite like how the diagonal ceiling and floor grids align!
