For most departments, Save Mart left Albertsons' decor in place and just slapped some cheap new signs (and a new coat of paint) right on top,
Haggen style. The bakery area actually looks pretty nice with the hybrid decor, and the stock photo Save Mart added is quite reminiscent of
the 3D thing Albertsons used.
That looks way too similar to be coincidence... is it possible this store just had a flat version instead of 3D to begin with?
ReplyDeleteCould be! I just looked and none of the other Save Marts/Luckys with this package that I visited have this graphic. A cheap, flat version of Grocery Palace seems like an odd concept, but I did notice that the produce crates also seem flatter than normal...
