I'm glad no one was buying the WSU-branded stuff

Unfortunately, Safeway kept this area closed up quite well and there wasn't much more to be seen. Still, I always find in-progress remodels to be an interesting sight! And clearance sections are interesting to look at too -- where else would you find beat-up boxes of Kelloggs mixed in with medicines and mops?

If you think this clearance scene at a remodeling store is a bit crazy, you should see the photos Mike has of my remodeling Grocery Palace Krogertsons. Kroger was/is selling still in that clearance department that would only make sense at a Fred Meyer! Even then, I'm not sure that Fred Meyer would sell that stuff. It looks more like things that would be sold at Lowe's (appropriately enough given the Lowe's logos in this photo!). Hopefully Mike will get those photos up here soon, I know you and Retail Retell would love to see those photos. AFB probably won't like seeing the dismantling of an Albertsons Grocery Palace floor though, crazy clearance products or not, lol.
