Turning to the left from the building entrance (I suppose this would be the front wall of the store as a whole... this is going to be another confusing store for direction references!), we find the Starbucks kiosk and the bakery. The soffit seems to be where the 2009-built section ends and the original two-story building begins, leading to a bakery alcove that would look right at home in a store from several decades earlier than this one.
There's another surprise here...
