Red and green -- Italian colors!

The register lights at this store are pretty interesting, being seven-segment displays that light up green for open or red for closed. I have no idea why they went with seven-segment displays since they shouldn't ever need to change the actual number of the checkout -- maybe it's just to make replacement easy if one were to break. (Trenitalia does something similar on their platform displays, where the platform number is a LED dot-matrix panel, and again, easy replacement is the only possible reason I can think of for that.)
