Just past the checkouts is a pair of papered-over doors, hidden between the underwear and the light bulbs (this store really does have a little bit of everything!). These doors are actually one of the original Dí per Dí glass elevators, leading down to the original salesfloor that's now Carrefour's back room. There were originally two or three elevators plus a staircase, but this is all that's visible today. I really wish I could go down there and see what's left of Dí per Dí, since that's a place that meant a lot to me, but that's not going to happen.
