Carrefour Express is a very small, cramped store with pretty much no decor to look at, so this is going to be a very (very) short set. I originally intended for this to be just part of the blog post series, but that ended up going on too long already, so here we are. Anyway, when you enter the doors, you end up in the first "room", which is pretty much the original elevator lobby and is now home to the one and only checkout (which, as you could see a couple pictures back, just sits in the doorway -- the person with the white hair in that picture was checking out; there's absolutely no separation between people entering the store and people standing at the checkout), then there's a little pinch point (which might be where the stairs to the lower level are/were), then you enter a second "room" which holds the three aisles that make up the main part of the store. Carrefour managed to cram an impressive range of products into this space, with the tradeoff being limited variety in each category (well, except for wine, as you can already see from here!).
