Produce market

Most of the front right portion of the store is taken up by the produce department, which is clearly intended to evoke a classic Italian outdoor market. Many US grocery decors over the years have gone for a farmer's market look, but this is a much more convincing version than any that I've seen! The stripy, somewhat dingy awnings really sell the look, even if plainer fabric is what's commonly seen around Italy these days.

The big windows on the left are a sign that we're now in the other large entryway arch, the one Eataly doesn't really use. Unlike the central one, this one isn't really visible from inside the store since the upper floors fill in the entire space rather than leaving a large atrium.
