Hop & Vine

Inside the alcoholic zone is another sign with cutout backgrounds like we saw over in produce -- I don't think this one looks quite as nice, but it's still neat! The text here really reminds me of Urban Mix, especially with the slight border on the letters. I have to wonder if the fake tree on the left is a permanent thing or an early christmas decoration!

Ha, my initial reaction was to think that the sign was supposed to say 'Shop & Wine', or something like that, but some letters/parts of letters had fallen off! Now that would really remind me of Kroger! Of course, 'Shop & Wine' doesn't really make a whole lot of sense, but then 'Hop & Vine' doesn't really make a ton of sense either. Ok, so that means beer & wine, but they could have just said that. Oh well!

    1. Ha, that would be very Kroger-like! Anyway, you know how decor designers love to write anything but what they actually mean!

    2. At least they were consistent with the "Hop & Vine" theme by using graphics of hops and grape clusters. I agree that the cutouts here don't look as good as the ones in produce though.
