The front-most aisles in the sideways section are home to the frozen department, with refrigerated non-alcoholic drinks along the side wall. The soffit marks the transition to the liquor department, which features a pretty nice sign that reminds me of Ultra-Premium but which is installed on another bit of 80s-looking wood paneling.
See, I like this implementation of the wood paneling because it makes it look like I'm walking into a cozy lounge complete with soft lighting and plush leather chairs. The lines and the font choice also give it a bit of an Art Deco feel, in my opinion.
