This store has a lot of extras catering to the Asian community, and I'm not really sure why. Sure, there are a lot of immigrants and people of Asian descent in the area, but that's true of the entire Vancouver region (42% of the residents of Vancouver are immigrants), while this is the only Safeway location I'm aware of to be quite so Asian-focused. Considering the demographics, I suppose I should be more surprised that Safeway/Sobeys hasn't focused more on Asian foods throughout the region!
