The odd corridor behind the parking garage ramp, connecting the main salesfloor to the smaller southern one, is mostly home to bakery items, but the wall on the right contains an interesting grab-and-go section that's unlike anything I've seen at other local Safeways. It's almost as if they took the impulse-buy section from by the checkouts and stuck it here instead! But while that would almost make sense in a weird store like this, the checkouts do have their typical impulse shelves too. As you can kind of see on the employee on the left (I avoid taking pictures of employees as much as possible, for obvious reasons), Safeway had special uniform shirts printed for this store's grand opening, and I would absolutely love to have one of those, but that obviously wasn't going to happen... I did get something cool from this store, though, which I'll show you later!
