I imagine there can't be many other grocery stores out there with such a scenic view from the self checkout area! It's also neat to see the sign from the back (yes, just like the picture I posted the other day from the other store), something Safeway eliminated in standard Marina-model stores by including a solid panel to mount the sign on.
Maybe if your Safeways back in Seattle (or the Krogers I've been to in Georgia) had a view like this, you'd be less frustrated by the long line you had to wait in to check out!
