Nested rectangles

This store has a fairly 80s-looking design overall, but the beige-on-beige-on-beige paint scheme looks straight out of the 2000s. Sadly, this store has since been repainted, with the various different shades that at least attempted to highlight what architectural features were here being replaced by a boring flat grey color. It's hard to imagine this building becoming even more of a boring box than it was on my visit, but apparently JCPenney managed to do that.
