Ombre

I'm not sure why I apparently decided to stand in the middle of a sea of parked cars for this picture, but at least it turned out better lighting-wise than the previous JCPenney exterior shot I posted. At least there's a moderately-interesting car in the foreground!

A Camaro probably isn't all that interesting in the grand scheme of things, but that yellow really stands out in that parking lot! Then again, I'm sure my parent's yellow and black 1981 Toyota Corolla didn't strand out so much back in the day. I was around for that so I know the answer to it, lol.

I'm not sure if it is just the angles or what, but it looks like people are parked all over the place with people over the lines and such. Oh well, I guess that's pretty common at any busy mall. I'm sure that as far as Simon goes, that parking lot mess is a good problem to have. I was at my local mall a month or so ago, which is still a successful mall, and the parking situation was very much a similar mess. At least when Sears was still around, which was the last time I went to the mall with any frequency, there was plenty of open parking around the Sears, lol.

    1. Yeah, the color is probably the most interesting part! Someone in my neighborhood recently bought a 70s/80s yellow/black Toyota Celica, and that thing definitely stands out these days!

Yeah, it does look like it's a bit of a mess! This was a couple weekends before Christmas 2021, so it was pretty darn busy here. When I visit Southcenter at that time of year, it's just like what you said -- crazy busy everywhere except Sears!
