I'm not entirely sure why I took this picture, but perhaps it was to highlight just how flat the facade is, with nothing but a pair of pathetically-small canopies to break it up. This isn't the worst boring department store facade I've ever seen, but it's a far cry from the amazing mid-century modern Bon Marche, built at basically the same time as this place.
