This picture has a somewhat better view of that Lifestyle "pay here" sign, which I skipped getting a close-up of since (unlike Seattle Division Safeways) Save-On actually had a good number of workers in their deli. This store definitely wouldn't have had those large TV screens when it was operating as Safeway, but they look quite similar to what some Safeways have today! (Which, admittedly, is just because basically everyone seems to be moving towards this sort of thing.) I visited this store in the early afternoon, so it's odd to see that deli case on the left so empty -- do they not restock after the lunch rush?
This new computer keeps trying to transcribe text in these pictures, which it's quite bad at. It thought "Fresh" on the top of the salad sign in the background actually says "Grie"... not sure where it got that from! 😃
