Thank you, with flowers

I get frustrated at Safeway's refusal to use neighborhood names in their "welcome"/"thank you" signs in Seattle; I suppose it's a little more excusable in the suburbs, but seeing as they have four stores plus an Albertsons in Lacey, it would have been nice if they had been a bit more specific here too! Through the window on the right, you can just about see the apartment building that replaced the abandoned Albertsons across the street from this store -- if that Albertsons had survived until the merger, I wonder if they would have kept it rather than this store, which is smaller and was rather outdated at the time. Of course, I'm happy that didn't happen, since this store is far more interesting!
