In addition to the locked hard-liquor cases and locked "wine cellar" space, the liquor island also has a couple separately-locked wine cases that are accessed from outside of the wine room but are completely open to it (so I don't think they're at a different temperature, which I vaguely remember is something to do with wine). Not sure what that's all about, other than perhaps to look fancier. Perhaps the "wine cellar" was originally intended to be open and this was the only locked case, though it seems that if someone was determined enough, they could grab at least a few of the bottles in here from inside the room.
