At 16 aisles, this store is definitely a bit larger than average for a 90s Safeway! I suppose that's part of why it ended up with these extra deluxe features, but there are larger stores that never had any of this, and even some which did in the Lifestyle era but had them removed in the Modern remodel. Of course, this view isn't looking particularly deluxe, with that beat-up concrete floor, open ceiling, and extremely messy florescent strip lighting.
