Later Blue and Grey Market stores had a very wide rear actionway like this one, with coffin cases in both dairy and meat, while earlier ones like the Port Angeles store had a narrower actionway and an alcove in the meat department, which was the only place that had coffin cases. I like all the extra space back here, but it still feels very weird compared to the narrow actionways that the vast majority of Northwest grocery stores have! Later Albertsons that were built with the Awnings decor had a very similar setup, but with an open ceiling above the acitonways.
