delicatessen

This store's deli is in the standard Blue and Grey Market back-left corner location, and I imagine this is probably very close to what the one in Retail Retell's local Krogersons once looked like. Seems like there's a strange amount of empty space around the deli in this store -- either there are fewer deli displays than normal, or they're smaller. PF&Hv1 never had particularly consistent wall tile for service departments, but this design is quite common in former Blue and Grey Market stores -- the current burgundy tiles were dropped in to replace the original accent band, with the white tile above and below most likely being original to the store.

  1. This does look quite similar to what the local Krogertsons in the old Blue & Grey Market Albertsons looks like. This Albertsons has a bit more fancy tile work on the backsplash though. In fact, here is a photo of the Deli back when the store was flooded and being rebuilt after Hurricane Harvey in 2017. It's an interesting look at partial Neighborhood decor: https://goo.gl/maps/fHgsFZqVD3NDqsC79

I've probably shared this with you before, but here's what the store looked like completely gutted out: https://goo.gl/maps/wt1e5pVRodRSaXKPA

    1. Looking at some older pictures on Google Maps, it appears that the pre-hurricane wall tile was the original Blue & Grey Market stuff, along with the floor tile. So weird to see that in a Bountiful store!
