The vast sea of emptiness

Here's yet another look over the very empty back actionway. Other than the milk in the last picture (which was excluded from the closing sale for some reason -- I know some states have restrictions on milk pricing, but I don't think Washington is one of them as stores often have sales on milk... but trying to look up information on this just made me more confused!), the dairy wall was pretty much sold out, and the meat department doesn't look much better from here. But, of course, it's the massive sea of shiny floor tiles with nothing to break up the monotony that really draws the eye here.

    1. Certainly was... though in some ways this store always had a surreal feel to it with how empty (of customers) it felt. It was almost more so during regular operations, as at least during this visit the lack of stock matched up with the lack of customers (if that makes any sense).
