As is typical for these Safeway remodels, they just changed out the decor and didn't make any shelving changes, meaning the liquor aisle is still quite cramped. The beer cases piled on the floor, which seems to be a relatively-recent Safeway thing, don't help either! At least it's less dark now, with a new row of lighting installed over this aisle... unfortunately, they just used plain industrial-style light strips, which are both ugly and fail to match any of the other lighting in the store.
