Safeway's Seattle division seems to have a severe problem with project coordination -- time and time again, I've seen them remodel a store only to come back a few months to a year later and do another major project. In this store's case, they came back within a few months of the remodel and tore up the floral department, apparently to put in a new Starbucks kiosk to replace the old one on the other side of the salesfloor. That's part of why I waited so long to post this set -- it would have been nice to get some pictures after this was done, but I just haven't felt like going out to West Seattle again, so eventually I decided that it wasn't worth waiting.
