Far-back actionway

 

Finally, we've made it to the far back portion of the store, which is home to perhaps the only full-width, proper actionway of the entire store. Of course, they just used that as an excuse to clutter it with all sorts of assorted displays, mostly capitalizing on the beach tourist traffic. As with most of the store, the walls here are completely blank -- looking through Google Maps photos, it appears the remodel started in July or August 2020 (nearly a year before my June 2021 visit), and the wall signage wasn't installed until November 2021 or so. Even by Fred Meyer's standards, that's an absurdly slow pace.
