That openness extends to the back of the store, which is primarily home to produce (along with self-service meat and the surprisingly small liquor section). While Sprouts likes to call itself a farmers' market, I feel like what they're really emulating is an old-fashioned produce store such as Sunny Farms (a store I grew up shopping at and one of the few things I truly miss about living on the Peninsula) -- that's the type of natural foods store I can really get behind, even if I'd really only shop there for produce. (And that's probably why I have much more positive feelings towards Sprouts than other natural foods stores.)
Even their logo looks similar, lol!
ReplyDeleteHa, true! Though the logo you're referring to is just for the farm/garden part of the store, not the produce/natural foods part.
