Entrance hallway

I grumbled about the long hallway at the new "main" entrance on the other side of the hall, but as it turns out, the original main entrance wasn't much better. I have to say, this is definitely one place where the remodel falls flat, and the original look was far superior, even in my eyes. Interestingly, this space was originally open to the outside, with it only being enclosed in the remodel; I would say that's why the wall finishes look like they're on the outside of the building, but that seems to have been the style the original designers used even in true interior space (which is what I don't love about the original design -- not a fan of architecture pretending to be something it's not).
