Above the card shelving, and just to the left of that amusing aisle marker, is a pair of the historic local photos often found in these early-2000s stores. This is the only time I've ever seen them on the interior of the store, though! I wonder if any of the other stores originally had these indoors and lost them during remodels, though their construction looks more fit for outdoor use to me. As for the content of the pictures, I'm coming up empty -- I really thought the one on the left was the Seattle Center Armory, but it doesn't look right; the one on the right is clearly streetcar tracks in front of an early-20th-century brick apartment building, but we have so many like that in this neighborhood and who knows if the one in question even still exists... I certainly haven't found any sports that match the picture; the little picture in the bottom right is of an old school, but again, there are several (and once were more) in the neighborhood that look like that; and the other three little pictures didn't turn out well enough for me to pick out any details (perhaps another thing for me to look at on my next visit).
