... but they were replaced at a later date, sometime between 2019 and 2021. I'm quite curious what happened there, since there were no other obvious changes to the store during that time frame. This was one of the first Safeways to get this cheap Modern remodel, so perhaps they originally weren't planning to replace the register lights as part of them, or perhaps they were just on backorder or something when it was first remodeled. Who knows.
That's interesting that the bags have the Albertsons logo on them! I guess they also have a Safeway logo, but that's less obvious.

Yeah, I think everything is double-branded (Safeway/Albertsons) or even triple-branded (Safeway/Albertsons/Carrs) these days. Initially only ads were co-branded, but now it's rare to see things that don't have multiple brands on them (even with the Seattle Division slowly but surely getting rid of the Albertsons brand).
