Wow! is right, for a cool store like this

On the inside, this store is still impressively original too, even featuring the original bare-wood finish of the ceiling beams (which have been painted over in most remaining Marina stores, especially those that are still Safeways). The cheap-looking metal columns and strip lights are the original style, too (it would have been really cool if these stores had been built without all the columns in the salesfloor, but I suspect that was beyond the structural engineering abilities of the time, at least without much larger beams). Obviously, though, the decor is all Grocery Outlet, and while I don't know what the original Marina layout would have looked like, I imagine that has been substantially altered as well.
