One sad thing about Marina stores is that it's almost impossible to convey in pictures just how impressive they feel in person. The soaring arched ceiling produces a cavernous, almost cathedral-like effect that's unmatched by any other store I've been in -- even though some modern stores have very high open ceilings, probably at least as high as the highest part of the arched ceiling here, there's just something about the arched design that makes it all feel more impressive.
Yeah, I figured it'd be more striking in person. Still, though -- great shot here!
