Deli round

One particularly unusual (though rather nice) change here was the addition of a rounded corner to the deli department, with a corresponding curved cheese case below. I could have sworn I'd seen the exact same design in a QFC or something before, but I can't find a picture anywhere! (Maybe it's in my insanely long backlog...) At first when I saw this I thought it was an Albertsons leftover, since early PF&H remodels sometimes included fancy rounded details like this, but the before picture of this department showed a plain square transition at the end of the deli, so it's clearly a new addition. I still haven't seen it in any other recently-remodeled Safeway, but I hope it's not just a one-off since it does look really nice!
