Prepared Deli

As you'll see over the course of the next few pictures, the deli at this store received the most transformative remodel of any part of this store. The lone island case was replaced with a pair of mid-height cases (which is a common theme of these Modern Decor remodels, and which I'm certainly not a fan of since it makes the area feel rather cramped -- it's not too bad in this store since the deli area is pretty large and open regardless, but in some others it's much worse) and the service parts of the department were completely reworked. As I've said many times before and will say many times later, I really wish Safeway would have put this level of effort into their own remodels, not just the Albertsons conversions!
